Mutiny at Morristown

Today in New Jersey history:

May 25,1780: The men of the Fourth and Eighth Connecticut regiments, encamped in Jockey Hollow, near Morristown, mutinied and refused to obey orders. The soldiers were distraught from a lack of food and pay over the long and exceptionally hard winter, but were talked into discontinuing their armed protest by officers they respected.
