SPRING LAKE, NJ — A new bistro and bar is set to open in Monmouth County this summer.

The bar and bistro’s vision is to honor the building’s history while shaping what’s next for Spring Lake.
“From kitchen to bar, everything celebrates craftsmanship, connection, and seasonality,” the website reads. “We built Marée for people who believe that great restaurants should feel like community.”

According to the Marée website, the restaurant was founded by Marilyn Schlossbach (a restaurateur and chef) and Bret Morgan (an entrepreneur and developer).
Once open, customers will be able to enjoy seasonal American fare, crafted cocktails, wine and beer and more.
There will also be an optional dining program called the Hide Tide Community, though the bar and bistro is designed to be a public restaurant and bar that everyone can enjoy.
Applications for the program are currently paused with limited wine-locker spots remaining, but those interested can get updates or join the waitlist here.
