NEWS IN BRIEF: Leaf Pickup and Pothole Repair

Leaf Removal
With some of the winter’s snow melted, leaf pickup has resumed in town, according to a notice on the the town’s web site.

Department of Public Works employees will be removing piles of leaves left from the fall. Any leaves should be pushed to the street, the notice says.

The notice does not give dates or times that leaves will be picked up.

Town employees will be around again beginning in April through May 15 for regular Spring cleanup, according to the notice.

Pothole Repair

The Department of Public Works is asking residents to call to put their street on a pothole repair list.

DPW employees are beginning to fill some of the potholes created by the severe winter weather, according to a notice on the town’s web site.
