Derrick D. Lewis Jr., 29, of Georgia, and Samantha J. Sprague, 29, of Neptune, are being held at the Monmouth County jail following an incident that happened Aug. 22. The pair were arrested at the Atlantic Inn & Suites on Route 35, police said.
Police provided few specifics on the incident, which remains under investigation, but said they received information that Lewis "knowingly under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life pointed a firearm at the direction of another."
