"Agnieszka and her family have taken in a woman and her six young children, who are strangers in need, and put them up in her rental property," said Kalaigian. "Agnieszka is also working together with other members of our family, friends, colleagues, and their community to transport and house other Ukrainian refugees in other parts of Poland."
According to a report by The Guardian, more than a million people have crossed the border from Ukraine into Poland. Many displaced families were forced to flee with only the clothes on their backs and a few personal belongings.
