Public Invited to Comment on Magnet® Re-Designation at Meridian Health Hospitals at Open Forums

Meridian Health was designated as a Magnet organization in 1998, 2002, 2006 and 2012 by the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®. This prestigious designation recognizes excellence in nursing services. In March 2017, Meridian Health is applying for re-designation.

Patients, family members, staff, and interested parties who would like to provide comments are encouraged to do so at open forums with ANCC Magnet® appraisers. Forums will take place at the following date, time, and location:

These forums are intended for appraisers to hear community stakeholders’ perspectives on how Meridian Health is integrated in the community, how the health care needs are addressed, and how the community recognizes the value of nursing to the community.
