Rue21 Closing Jersey Shore Outlets Store
Breaking: The Monmouth County location is one of more than 400 stores it is closing nationwide.

Teen clothing retailer Rue21 announced it would be closing 400 stores, including its Jersey Shore Premium Outlets location. It was a "difficult but necessary decision," the Pennsylvania-based retailer said in a Facebook post.
In addition to the store at the outlets on the Tinton Falls/Neptune border, the Ocean County Mall location in Toms River, and locations at the Livingston Mall in Livingston and the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing are closing as well, according to the Rue21 website. There are eight Rue21 stores in New Jersey.
According to The Associated Press, Rue21 is closing approximately one-third of its locations nationwide to focus on online sales.
