Schedule Of Free Outdoor Movies Released

Shore Flicks, a Monmouth County company that brings outdoor movies to municipalities throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties, has released its summer lineup. 

This year, Shore Flicks is offering its movie nights to municipalities for free, choosing instead to gain sponsorship rather than stretch already thin municipal budgets for the cost of the presentations, according to a Shore Flicks release.

Each movie night will be a community event to include a food drive to benefit local food banks and pantries such as Lunch Break, RAINE, and the Food Bank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties.  Everyone who donates food will be in a weekly drawing to win items donated by the company's sponsors, the release says.

Movies will be shown on the Municipal soccer  fields behind town hall on Wednesdays through the summer. 

The lineup follows:

• June 8, 9 p.m. : Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure 
• June 22, 9 p.m.: Dumb & Dumber 
• July 6, 9 p.m. : E.T. 
• July 20, 8:45 p.m.: Roxanne 
• Aug. 3, 8:30 p.m.: How To Train Your Dragon 
• Aug. 17, 8:15 p.m.: Finding Nemo
