Someone Stole Part Of Circus Drive-In Sign; Wall Police Seek Tips
Wall police are seeking information on who may have taken the sign, which remained after the restaurant was demolished.

WALL, NJ — Maybe someone was feeling nostalgic. Or maybe someone was looking for some scrap metal. Either way, Wall Township police are hoping someone can help them track down the culprit after a piece of the sign at the Circus Drive-in site was stolen.
Wall police posted a request for the public's help on Facebook, saying the double-sided sign that reads "Maryland Jumbo Soft Shell Crabs" has been taken from the site of the restaurant, which was razed in early May. The sign with its famous clown face was the only thing left standing at the site.
The new owner of the site has not said what is going to replace the restaurant but has been seeking at least one tenant for the site.
