Wall Police Seek Burglary Suspect, Remind People To Lock Cars

Police are again reminding people to lock up and not leave key fobs in their vehicles after a spate of burglaries.

WALL, NJ — Wall Township police are seeking help identifying a person or people caught on surveillance video in connection with an investigation. They also took the opportunity to remind residents again to lock up their vehicles, following more burglaries in the township.

Police said the photos come from surveillance video in the area that captured incidents on Sunday, July 14 and Monday, July 15.

Late July 14, shortly before midnight, a white male was seen in the River Road residential area with flashlights and looking into vehicles. He is described as wearing light-colored shorts, a hooded sweatshirt and white sneakers.

About 10:30 p.m. on July 15, a person was captured on video. Police say someone went into multiple unlocked vehicles in the area of Clinton Avenue, Maple Street, Leslie Street, Voorhees Avenue and Marconi Road between 10 p.m. and midnight. The suspect is described as a white male wearing dark shorts, a white sleeveless T-shirt and white sneakers.

Any residents in those areas who have surveillance cameras and anyone who has any information that would help the investigation is asked to call Wall Detective Dan Mason at 732-449-4800, ext. 1144.

"As always, please remember to lock your vehicles and remove all valuable items from the interior of your parked cars," police said.
