Wall Police Thank Supporters Of National Night Out Event

The police department hopes to turn it into an annual event.

WALL, NJ — Hundreds of residents turned out for the township's first participation in National Night Out Tuesday, and the Wall Township Police Department is giving thanks to all who helped.

"It was a fun night for all involved and a pleasure spending the evening with people from our community," said Lt. Joseph Wilbert, who coordinated the event for the police department.

"We would also like to thank all of the businesses and other groups that supported the event through monetary, food donations, and volunteer help. Without your assistance none of this would have been possible and we would like to acknowledge each of you that helped," he said.
