Wall Schools Announce Early Dismissal For Feb. 20

School officials announced the early dismissal amid predictions of afternoon snowfall. See the dismissal times.

WALL, NJ — Wall Township officials have announced the district will dismiss school early on Wednesday, Feb. 20, amid predictions of an oncoming winter storm.

"Due to the forecast for snow tomorrow, February 20, 2019 will be an early dismissal day," the district said in a tweet and an announcement on the district's website.

Wall High School will dismiss at 11:45 a.m. Wall Intermediate School will dismiss at 12:20 p.m. and the elementary schools will dismiss at 1:05 p.m.

"Lunches will not be served and parents are encouraged to send snacks with their children," the announcement said. "There will be no PM session for Primary School. The afternoon Wrap Program will be canceled."

A winter weather advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for all 21 counties, with predictions of 2 to 5 inches of snow, and the majority of the snow falling between 2 and 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Read more: Snow Estimates As Gov. Phil Murphy Addresses NJ Winter Weather
