Wall Schools Closed Friday As Blizzard Cleanup Continues

Township officials expect to resume trash and recycling collection on Friday.

WALL, NJ — As the area continues to dig out from Thursday's blizzard, officials in the Wall Township School District closed schools for Friday, Jan. 5.

The blizzard dropped more than a foot of snow on the area, leaving many towns trying to dig out and clear streets into the wee hours Friday morning.

Wall Township officials had previously announced that garbage and recycling pickup would be postponed to Friday and Saturday.
