Wall Schools Start Winter Break A Day Early

District officials choose to close due to snow.

WALL, NJ -- Wall Township students and staff are getting a bonus day off as they head into the district’s winter break, thanks to Friday’s snowfall.

Winter break begins Monday and goes through Friday, according to the district’s website.

The snowfall that began around 5 a.m. has increased in intensity in several areas and with temperatures hovering around freezing, has turned streets and sidewalks into a slippery mess, leading to a number of school closures in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
