Student Crashes Into Wall High School, Leaves Gaping Hole: Police
A 17-year-old male student, driving a 2008 Lexus, smashed in part of Wall High School's east side wall Tuesday; no people were injured.

WALL, NJ — A 17-year-old Wall High School student crashed his 2008 Lexus into the east side of the school Tuesday afternoon, leaving a gaping hole but causing no personal injury to himself, his passenger or others, Wall police said Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Sept. 20, at about 2:26 p.m., the Wall Township Police Department responded to Wall High School for a report of a motor vehicle crash in which a car collided with the school.
The investigation showed that a 2008 Lexus RX was being operated by a 17-year-old male from Wall and that another 17-year-old male from Wall was the front-seat passenger.

The two youths were traveling west through the parking lot near the tennis courts when the vehicle left the parking lot and collided with the east side of the building, police said.
As a result of the crash, an approximately 4-foot by 4-foot hole was created on an east side exterior wall.

Both occupants of the vehicle were uninjured. They were assessed by Wall Township Police EMS as a precaution.
The township school district was not immediately available to respond to a request for more information as of Wednesday evening.
Glendola Fire Department, South Wall Fire Department, Wall Township Building Department and Wall Township Building Engineer all responded to the scene.
