Woman Dies Following Multi-Vehicle Crash In Wall, Police Say
The crash occurred on Thursday evening at the intersection of State Highway 70 and Morningstar Road, police said.
WALL, NJ — A 58-year-old woman has died following a multi-vehicle crash on Thursday evening, Wall Police Lt. Steven Nash told Patch.
At 5:20 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to the intersection of State Highway 70 and Morningstar Road following reports of a serious crash requiring extrication.
Once officers arrived at the scene, emergency personnel discovered a multi-vehicle crash with one person unresponsive.

According to Nash, a 58-year-old woman from Brick, NJ, was extricated from her vehicle after she was found in an unresponsive state.
Life-saving measures, including CPR, were initiated at the scene by responding officers before the woman was brought to a medical facility, where she was pronounced deceased at 6:28 p.m.

A second driver, identified as a 51-year-old woman from Brick, NJ, was treated for injuries to her face, head, and wrist, Nash said.
A third driver involved, a 22-year-old woman from Manasquan, NJ, was also identified at the scene.
All three drivers were brought to local medical facilities for treatment of injuries, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said.
Authorities did not release the names of the drivers involved in the incident. No charges have been filed as of Friday morning.
Following the crash on Thursday evening, a long-term closure of State Highway 70 was put in place in both directions, with traffic diverted by the NJ Department of Transportation and the Brielle Police Department.
All roads were reopened by approximately 9 p.m., Nash said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Wall Township Police Department, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office and the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team.
