1K Still Without Power In Somerset County Monday

Breaking: Power restoration could be as late as midnight on Tuesday for some.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — It's been almost a week since Wednesday's snowstorm wrecked havoc on the Somerset County area, causing widespread outages and closing schools.

Most schools reopened on Monday, but busing was impacted due to closed or obstructed roadways.

As of 9:16 a.m., more than 1,000 Somerset County residents remain without power.

JCP&L is reporting 626 residents without power with an estimated restoration time as late as midnight on Tuesday for some.
