$1M Worth of Cocaine Seized From Warren Home

10 kilos of cocaine, two kilos of heroin and almost $300,000 in cash was seized, police say

Warren, NJ -- A Warren resident was arrested after police reportedly found 10 kilos of cocaine, two kilos of heroin, and almost $300,000 in cash in his Sneider Road home, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey D. Soriano.

The 10 kilos of cocaine seized has an approximate street value of $1 million and the two kilos of heroin have a street value of $200,000.

Charles Lewis, 42 was charged with possession of CDS (cocaine) with the intent to distribute, first degree; possession of CDS (heroin) with the intent to distribute, first degree; endangering the welfare of a child, second degree; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a disorderly persons offense.

Lewis was arrested as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation regarding the distribution of cocaine by Charles Lewis, members of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force along with the Warren Township and Bound Brook Police Departments.

On Dec. 18, police executed a search warrant on Lewis’ Sneider Road home where the cocaine, heroin and money was found, Soriano said.

Lewis was lodged in the Somerset County Jail with bail set by the Honorable Robert Reed, J.S.C. at $250,000 cash or bond.
