Power Restored To 2,000 Locals In Somerset County

Warren, Basking Ridge, Bridgewater, Bernardsville and Bedminster locals woke up Monday morning to a power outage, according to JCP&L.

WARREN, NJ — Locals in and around Warren woke up to darkness Monday morning due to a wide-spread power outage. The power has since been restored, according to Jersey Central Power & Light.

A total of more than 2,000 customers in Warren, Basking Ridge, Bridgewater, Bernardsville and Bedminster were without power as of 8:50 a.m., JCP&L reported.

Warren had the largest outage with 1,248 customers without power, followed by Basking Ridge with 807, Bridgewater with six and Bernardsville and Bedminster with fewer than five.

Power was restored on Monday.
