20th Annual Bob Beckert Memorial 5K Race To Be Held At Watchung Hills

This race marks two decades of honoring the memory of Bob Beckert and raising funds for scholarships and his favorite charities.

WARREN, NJ — The 20th Annual Bob Beckert Memorial 5K Race will take place on Sunday, June 4 at Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren.

This year's race promises to be a special event, as it marks two decades of honoring the memory of Bob Beckert and raising funds for scholarships and his favorite charities.

Participants are encouraged to register ahead of time on the race's official website, www.run4rjb.com, to secure a limited edition T-shirt commemorating the event. Race day registration for the event begins at 8:30 a.m. on June 4, and the race itself will start at 10 a.m.

The Bob Beckert Memorial 5K Race is open to runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels.

Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each age category, and participants will have an
opportunity to enter to win raffle prizes.

"Bob Beckert was a beloved member of our community, and this race is our way of honoring his
memory and continuing his legacy of giving back to others," said the event organizers. "We are
excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this event and look forward to seeing familiar faces
and meeting new participants."

Event proceeds go towards granting college scholarships to WHRHS seniors (more than $110,000
donated to date) and supporting local charities that were near and dear to Bob's heart.
