28 Pounds Of Marijuana Found During Warren Traffic Stop
The California man was pulled over in Warren on New Year's Day where 28 pounds of marijuana and $10,500 in cash was found inside the Jeep.

WARREN, NJ — About 28 pounds of marijuana and $10,500 in cash was found inside a car during a traffic stop in Warren, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson announced.
Warren Police pulled over Juan Rodriguez, 37, of Sacramento, California who was driving a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee while on Liberty Corner Road in Warren on Jan. 1 at around 2:05 a.m.
During the stop, the officer smelled a strong odor of raw marijuana and saw raw marijuana on the front passenger seat, Robertson said.

A search of the vehicle found approximately 28 pounds of marijuana and approximately $10,500 in cash, according to the report.
Rodriguez was arrested and charged with first-degree possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and fourth degree possession of marijuana over 50 grams.

Rodriguez was processed and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
