$5K Worth Of Items Stolen From Unlocked Car In Warren
A Warren man was also charged with driving while intoxicated after reportedly driving with a flat tire, police say.
WARREN, NJ — Warren Police reported a car burglary, fraud, and an arrest for driving while intoxicated recently.
Warren Police blotter:
On Feb. 18 at 1:56 p.m.: A Morning Glory Road resident reported a theft from a mail package. The victim stated a repaired piece of jewelry she was expecting was missing from a damaged package. The investigation is ongoing.

On Feb. 18 at 1:46 p.m.: A High Oaks Drive resident reported a motor vehicle burglary. Patrol stated the victim witnessed an unknown man enter her unlocked vehicle and removed a purse, wallet and assorted items valued at $5,000 and fled the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
On Feb. 12 at 9:38 a.m.: Walgreen's in Pheasant Run Plaza reported someone passed several counterfeit $100 bills on Feb. 9. Police responded and took possession of the bills. Investigation is ongoing.

On Feb. 6 at 1:06 p.m.: A resident of Red Hill Road reported an incident of fraud. The victim was scammed out of about $4,100 in gift cards.
On Feb. 4 at 10:33 a.m.: A Whispering Way resident reported someone charged $1,750 to the victim's credit card.
On Feb. 3 at 7:47 a.m.: Patrol responded to a report of an erratic driver who was driving with a flat tire on Mount Bethel Road. After an investigation, Maximilia Hoffman, 19, of Warren was arrested for DWI. Motor vehicle summonses were issued for DWI, careless driving, refusal to submit to a breath test and failure to wear a seat belt. He was processed and released pending a court appearance. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
