TRINITY SPONSORS SIXTH ANNUAL RUMMAGE SALE
WARREN Twp.: Trinity United Church located at 118 King George Rd., Warren gets on the environmental bandwagon as they decided to run their sixth annual rummage sale which will take place on Saturday May 31 at 9-3pm.
As Nancy Irwin, fund raiser committee member says, “We need to do one green thing today and it will lead to another. We all looked around our homes and found many items to donate for sale. This way everyone could buy gently used items at bargain prices.”
The sale will fund the Trinity’s building and grounds fund that helps maintain the 160+ year old church. One person’s junk is another’s treasure. The items that are not sold will then be donated to The United War Vets Council.
A blending of Presbyterian and United Church of Christ and also Open and Affirming, the Warren church has done unusual things as a labyrinth walk and held services out doors.
The Rummage sale will start at 9AM ON SATURDAY May 31 AND RUN UNTIL 3PM AT 118 KING GEORGE RD. (BETWEEN MT. HOREB AND WASHINGTON VALLEY RD.) Call the office 732-469-5044 for any information or see wwwtrinityunitedchurch.org.
