Back To School: Warren, Watchung Hills 2021-22 School Calendars

WARREN, NJ — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Warren, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Warren Township Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Warren is Sept. 1.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point.

Currently, the Warren district said they are still following their school reopening plan from July which includes optional masking. Like last year, these policies could change any time before the first day.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Warren Township Public Schools

• First Day: Wednesday, Sept. 1
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24 (half-day). Nov. 25 and 26
• Winter Break: Dec. 23 (half-day). Dec. 24 - Dec. 31
• Spring Break: April 15 - 22
• Last Day: June 20 (half-day)

Watchung Hills Regional High School

• First Day: Thursday, Sept. 1
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24 (half-day). Nov. 25 and 26
• Winter Break: Dec. 23 (half-day). Dec. 24 - Dec. 31
• Spring Break: April 15 - 22
• Last Day: June 17
