All are welcome to come share in the talented world of Watchung Hills arts students at the Spring Teen Arts Festival from May 15-19. The work of the fine arts students of WHRHS arts teachers Mr. Colabella, Mr. Dursee, Ms. Griffin, Ms. Ravettina, Ms. O'Reilly, Ms. Sankus, Mr. Speeney and Ms. Thomson will be on display in the front atrium of the high school and throughout the hallways around the school’s Performing Arts Center (PAC) for five days. Come admire student work in the form of handmade jewelry, ceramics, drawings, paintings, graphic designs, collages, photographs and sculptures. The wide range of works and the creativity of the students who made them are truly worth viewing and appreciating.
The arts department will also be showcasing its gifted students in evening performances that promise to be stimulating and inspiring.
A musical evening will be presented on Tuesday, May 15 at 7 p.m. in the PAC when Ms. Dilorio and Mr. Udell’s students will give instrumental and choral concerts for vocalists and ensembles for flute, brass and jazz musicians.
