Car Burglaries, Hit-And-Run, DWI Reported In Warren

Last week was a busy week for Warren Police with multiple incidents reported in the police blotter.

WARREN, NJ — Last week was a busy week for Warren Police with a DWI arrest, a hit-and-run, and car burglaries, according to the police blotter.

Warren Police Blotter:

On July 22 at 9:49 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on King George Road south of Mountain View Road, Jordan Yuhas, 34 of Martinsville was arrested for DWI. He was processed and released pending a court appearance. Summonses were issued for DWI, reckless driving, careless driving and speeding. His vehicle was towed from the scene.

On July 21 at 5:20 p.m.: A hit-and-run was reported to a parked vehicle on Quail Run. A Middlesex resident reported his parked vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle.

On July 15: Cranford Police reported a 2015 BMW was possibly stolen from a home on Roberts Road. Patrol confirmed the car was stolen sometime after 8 p.m. on July 14 from the Warren home. Vehicle was entered into NCIC.

On July 16 at 6:53 p.m.: Caller reported a motor vehicle burglary occurred in the parking lot of the Warrenbrook Pool. Patrol responded and advised entry was gained through the passenger side window which was broken into. About $50 in cash was taken along with a small purse containing misc.
