Car Burglars Hit Multiple Somerset County Towns
Police are reminding residents to lock their cars and take valuables inside.

WARREN, NJ — Multiple car burglaries were reported in Bernardsville and also in Warren.
"Please lock your unattended vehicles," Warren Police reported. "We have had items stolen from unlocked vehicles overnight."
Three unlocked cars were burglarized on Saturday, July 30 on North Oaks Court and Glen View Drive, according to Warren Police.

Valuable items were stolen from the cars including a $500 pair of sunglasses.
Bernardsville Police are also investigating car burglaries in the area of Old Army Road and Anderson Road.

Watchung Police are also offering the following tips to avoid being a victim of a car burglary:
- Always lock your vehicle, regardless of the time of day.
- Do not keep any valuables in cars, but if necessary then keep those items hidden.
- Although convenient, do not leave your key or key fob in the car.
Residents should report any suspicious individuals or vehicles to their local police departments.
