Contemporary Art Group Members' Show at the Watchung Arts Center in May

Work by 43 Local Artists on Display in Juried Show

The Watchung Arts Center will be hosting the Contemporary Art Group’s 9th Annual Members’ Show in the Heinz W. Otto Gallery. The exhibition, featuring work by 43 artists, will be on display from May 2 to May 30, 2015. The following prizes were awarded at the opening reception on Sunday, May 2:

The Contemporary Art Group is a non -profit, collegial organization of working artists who meet on a regular basis at Watchung Arts Center and exhibit their work together. CAG is a supportive group where there is mutual respect among members, where members exchange ideas, provide information about exhibit opportunities and share their own artistic development. Also in May, in its Lower Gallery, Arts Center will present “Drawing/Painting Layers”, featuring the works of artist Steve Rushefsky. Steve was one of the winners in the New Art Group’s Solo Show Competition.
