Mailboxes on Ferguson Road Damaged

June 30

Police received three reports from residents of Ferguson Road of mailboxes damaged overnight.

June 29

Police are investigating a report of two T-Mobil accounts opened using a Canterbury Court resident's identity. The resident reported the identity theft at 1:05 p.m.

June 28

An accident on Mt. Bethel Road, near Central School, was investigated by police at 5:09 p.m. Police said no one was injured when a vehicle driven by Robert Ampaw, 40, of Green Brook, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Jessica Lui, 40, of Califon. No summonses were issued following the accident.

June 27

Police responded to an accident at the intersection of Mt. Horeb and King George roads at 6:41 p.m., after a vehicle driven by Vaka Venkararedd, 35, of Chesterfield, hit a vehicle driven by Thomas Williford, 63, of Warren. No injuries were reported in the incident.

June 26

Police responded to an accident on Washington Valley Road, near Washington Valley Fire Co. at 12:15 p.m., after a vehicle driven by Asheesh Saksena, 47, of Warren, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Anton Ghanem, 24, of North Plainfield. No injuries were reported at the accident scene.

June 25

Claudius Jacob, 51, of Princeton, was charged with careless driving at 7:21 a.m. after the vehicle he was driving through the intersection of Mountain Boulevard and Mt. Bethel Road hit a vehicle driven by David Zaccalmaglio, 56, of Basking Ridge.

Jacob was taken to Somerset Medical Center for treatment of an injury to his arm by the Warren Rescue Squad.

A Washington Valley house was broken into and copper pipes removed, according to a report received at 2:48 p.m. Entry to the home was forced. No timeframe for the burglary or estimate of the value of the pipe was available.  

June 24

Police reponded to an accident at Hillcrest Road and the Route 78 overpass at 1:02 a.m., after a vehicle driven by Diane Davis, 61, of Brooklyn, got stuck on a center median when she misjudged the turn, according to police. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
