Two vehicles parked at a Springdale Lane residence were broken into, with items valued at $50 taken from one of the vehicles, according to a report made at 8:38 a.m.

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Jennifer DeCapua, 29, of Jamesburg, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Anto Thokkadam, 44, of Plainsboro, at 4:54 p.m. as the vehicles were driving on Mountain Boulevard near Penny Lane.

Police received two reports of damaged mailboxes, early Wednesday, with a Dead River Road resident reporting damage at 7:09 a.m. followed by a report from a William Penn Road resident at 7:57 a.m.

A Mt. Horeb Road resident reported at 7:59 a.m. that someone had smashed a window in a parked vehicle at the residence and stolen a wallet. No total value of the items taken has been released.

At 8:17 a.m., a Wilderness Trail resident reported the theft of a purse from a vehicle.
Feb. 21
A passenger's side window was smashed and a purse was stolen from inside a vehicle during the overnight hours Tuesday outside an Upper Warren Way home, said Wednesday.
The estimated amount of the proceeds taken was not immediately known, police said.
Warren Police also said Wednesday that a Busy Bee Lane resident reported $172 worth of fraudulent charges were made to a credit card.
