County Clerk Announces Correction to Warren Twp. Sample Ballot
All voters in Warren Township will be mailed an updated sample ballot for the June 4 primary election.
Somerset County Clerk Steve Peter has announced a correction to the sample ballot that was mailed to Warren Township voters for the June 4 primary election.
Late last week, due to a printer’s error, voters in Warren received a sample ballot that incorrectly listed a race in the Democratic primary. The ballot should have shown a contest for Township Committee with John Patrick Fahy running for the Democratic nomination. The Republican primary section of the ballot is correct.
“I regret any confusion that this has error caused the voters in Warren Township,” said Peter. “Fortunately, the vote-by-mail ballots and the machine ballots are all correct. Only the sample ballot had the error.”
