Two Accidents Reported on Monday

Warren Township Police Department's daily activity reports for the week of Feb. 12.

Feb. 13

Police responded to an accident at the intersection of Mountain Boulevard and Bardy Road at about 3 p.m., after a vehicle driven by Jonathan Skrzyniarz, 20, of Dunellen, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Brooke Gilesnan, 22, of Piscataway. No injuries were reported, and no summonses have been issued.

No injuries were reported after a vehicle driven by Helen Esposito, 78, of Warren, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Creuza Pinhao, 54, of Newark, at 3:14 p.m. on King George Road. No charges have been filed in the incident.

Feb. 12

A Red Hill Road resident reported someone smashed the driver's side window of a vehicle parked at the residence, and took several banking documents. The report was filed at 3:18 p.m.

Police are still investigating a burglary reported at 6:20 p.m. at a Crestwood Drive residence. Details on the items taken, method of entry and time of occurrance have not been released yet. 

Feb. 11

Two Mountain View Road residents reported thefts from their vehicles, Saturday. Police received a report at 12:58 a.m. that someone had smashed a passenger-side window of a vehicle at one Mountain View Road residence and taken a purse, containing a wallet with cash valued at $300 altogether. And at 1:23 p.m., another resident reported the theft of $100 cash and a radar detector from a vehicle.

Andrew Moglia, 19, of Warren, was charged with possession of marijuana at 4:27 p.m. after the vehicle he was driving on Apple Tree Lane was stopped. Moglia was also charged with having tinted windows and obscured license plates on the vehicle, and possession of a CDS in a vehicle. He was released after the charges were filed pending an appearance in municipal court.
