Delayed Opening At Warren Hall, Road Closures Due To Snow
Multiple roads are closed and crashes are being reported on Friday morning as a result of the snow.
WARREN, NJ — Warren Township Municipal Offices will have a delayed opening on Friday morning due to snow.
The offices will be closed until 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 7, the township announced. Watchung Hills Regional High School is fully closed on Friday while Warren Township Schools has a delayed opening.
As a result of the snow, multiple roadways are also closed including Washington Avenue and Warrenville Road north of Route 22, Hillcrest Road and Bonnie Burn Road.

Additionally, the right lane on I-78 West is closed near exit 36 for County Route 651 in Warren due to a car that spun out. And the right lane on I-78 East is closed near Exit 33 for County Route 525 in Bernards Township for a disabled tractor-trailer.
Snow began falling overnight with the township expected to get somewhere between 3 to 5 inches on Friday.

Sunday: Rain likely, mainly after 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Sunday Night: A chance of rain, possibly mixing with snow after 1 a.m., then gradually ending. Cloudy, with a low around 25. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
