Resident Reports Missing Jewelry Valued at $12K

March 28
Michael Zampella, 17, of Stirling, lost control of the vehicle he was driving on Mountain Avenue, near Regional Drive, and went off the road, striking a tree stump, at about 3:50 p.m. He refused medical attention at the scene.

At 4 p.m., a Winding Way resident reported the theft of jewelry, valued at $12,000, from their home. The resident reported the theft may have occurred sometime between 2009 and March 28.

March 27
Peter Villani, 78, of Warren, reported a hit-and-run accident at 11:40 a.m. at the Mountain Boulevard exit of Pheasant Run Shopping Center.

Police investigated an accident at 4:18 p.m. on Stirling Road, at Mountain Avenue, after a vehicle driven by Matthew Drucker, 25, of Manalapan, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Marianne Hoff, 45, of Warren. No one reported injuries in the accidents, and no summonses were issued.
March 25
Police responded to an accident at 5:12 p.m. on Mt. Bethel Road, near Mt. Bethel Fire Volunteer Fire Co., after a vehicle driven by Lori Buccolo, 48, of West Orange, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Paresh Pandya, 33, of Piscataway. No injuries were reported, and no summonses issued, in the accident.
