Early Dismissal For Warren, Watchung Hills Schools Due To Weather
All Warren Schools and Watchung Hills Regional High School will let out early on Friday due to the potentially dangerous road conditions.
WARREN, NJ — All Warren Township Schools and Watchung Hills Regional High School will have an early dismissal Friday due to the weather forecast and potential for dangerous road conditions this afternoon, said the districts.
All Warren Township Schools will dismiss two hours earlier than normal. AlphaBest after-care and all after-school activities are canceled. After school activities are also canceled at WHRHS.

- Time Slot 3: 9:00 - 9:40
- Time Slot 4: 9:45 - 10:25
- Time Slot 5: 10:30 - 11:10
- Time Slot 6: 11:15 - 11:55
A winter weather advisory has bee issued for Somerset County from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday. Freezing rain is expected with total ice accumulations of a light glaze, according to the National Weather Forecast.
This will create very slippery sidewalks, roads, and especially bridges and overpasses are possible.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 21. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 28. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 12. Northwest wind around 5 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 32. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 21.
