Local author, Michele Cameron, will speak about her book "The Fruit of Her Hands". The book is based on the life of the author's 13th century ancestor Rabbi Meir ben Baruch of Rothenberg, a renowned Jewish scholar from medieval Europe. Ms. Cameron's story follows Rabbi Meir's wife, Shira, a devout but rebellious woman who preserves her religious traditions as she and her family witness the rise of anti-Semitism in Europe.
