Ensuring a Spot for All

The Somerset County Office on Aging and Disability Services (OoADS) is launching a handicapped parking education initiative to raise awareness of the difficulties, and even dangers, that people in wheelchairs, on crutches or using walkers experience when crossing busy parking lots.

A presentation hosted by Disabilities Coordinator Mark Malone will be held from 11 to 11:45 a.m.at the center. How to educate adults age 60 and above about the importance of following handicapped parking regulations and to enlist their help in educating others will be discussed.
