Family Campout

Come and enjoy the great outdoors! Bring a picnic dinner, pitch a tent, have a ball with camp games/crafts, eat s’mores and sing along by the campfire! Get your kids some camping experience without driving to a campsite! We will play family games like kickball and t-ball, tie-dye t-shirts and learn fun camp songsaround the campfire. Enjoy coffee,  juice and bagels before packing up your tent in the morning.T-Shirt: With the event you get a free souvenir t-shirt for use during tie-dye! Please select shirt size when registering.

Run by Girl Scout Erin Maloney for her Girl Scout Gold Award Project, the Family Campout will be held for families living in Warren from Friday, June 27th at 5 pm - Saturday at 10 am. You will be able to set up camp at Warren Township Municipal Library Field. Go to www.weatherclosings.com just in case it is raining on the day of the family campout. If the family campout it canceled, the rain date will be Saturday, June 28th at 5pm- Sunday June 29th at 10 am. The cost is $5/person (8 and younger) and $10/person (9 and older). Visit Warren Recreation at www.warrennj.org to register for the Family Campout. A suggested “what to bring” list will be provided after you register.If you need a tent, please contact Erin Maloney at:eemaloney@optonline.net for suggestions/help.
