ART @ 1275 Studio & Gallery announces a Gallery opening on Saturday August 4th to introduce the work of artist Julian Tavormina. Fifty-one of his paintings and drawings are on exhibit the month of August reflecting his interpretation of the Fauvism style of art- bold vibrant colors applied with spontaneous seemingly wild brush work and a high degree of simplification and abstaction.
Julian comments "I have always had a strong passion for the creative, but in recent years I have been consumed by painting. Pulling from a wide array of influences, from ancient carvings to Saturday morning cartoons I create uniqued works in oil and all manner of dry media."
The public is invited to a Meet The Artist Reception on Saturday, August 4th from 2 - 5pm and again on Thursday evening, August 16th, from 5 - 8pm at 1275 Bloomfield Avenue, Fairfield, NJ. Each reception is an opportunity to meet the artist and to invest in one of his original art works.
