K'NEX Amusement Park Science

Have you ever wondered how they make those incredible rides you see at the amusement park? Now you can discover them for yourself as you work with a class of other enthusiasts to design and build a working model amusement park. This course is sure to bring out the engineer in you! We will build a wide range of model amusement park models using the K’NEX construction system. Projects will include: a motorized swing, Double Ferris Wheel, Roller Coasters, Big Ball Factory, and Giant Ferris Wheel. Musical Carousel, Boom Ride, and many more! All students will take home a K’NEX model as part of the program! Students will have fun learning about simple and complex machinery, and physical science concepts including acceleration, Newton’s Laws of Motion, speed, velocity, and more. Pack a lunch, drink and snack. K'NEX Amusement Park Science is being taught by Super Science Program for Warren residents ONLY! Your son/daughter has to be between the ages of 7-13 years old in order to participate.
