Fraud, DUI, Theft Reported In Warren

A Basking Ridge local was arrested for driving under the influence in Warren on St. Patrick's Day, according to the police blotter.

WARREN, NJ — Fraud, DUI, theft and damage to a vehicle were all reported recently in Warren, according to the police blotter.

Warren Police Blotter:

On March 13 at 5:54 p.m.: A resident on Harmony Road reported an incident of fraud. Patrol advised two fraudulent purchases were made using the victim's Ebay account totaling $820. Charges are pending, no monetary loss at this time.

On March 14 at 1:26 a.m.: A 17-year-old from Plainfield swerved to avoid a deer, left the roadway and struck an embankment on Hillcrest Road near Emerson Lane. She was taken to Morritown Memorial Hospital. Her vehicle was towed from the scene. No summonses were issued.

On March 14 at 9:35 p.m.: A Hillsborough resident reported his vehicle tires were flattened while parked at a Technology Drive business.

On March 15 at 4:58 p.m.: An Olsen Drive resident reported a theft. Unknown person(s) withdrew $2,500 from a bank account and compromised an email account.

On March 17 at 12:28 a.m.: Saideswara Vadlamudi, 37, of Basking Ridge was arrested for DUI following a motor vehicle stop. He was transported to headquarters for processing. His car was towed from the scene and he was issued multiple summonses.
