Herbal Remedies Presentation & Demonstration
Botanical healing for gardeners - using plants in the garden to heal scrapes, bites, stings, and strains
The Gardeners of Wagner Farm Arboretum invite the public to enjoy an informative presentation given by Lindsay Napolitano of Fields Without Fences. Examples of the species will be discussed; their folklore & history; using the herbal medicine in the garden for common garden injuries, and preparing easy herbal remedies. Demo on how to make an herbal poultice to use on aches, pains, and sprains. Poultices can be made using only plant material and water, and are quick and easy to prepare.
