Hillcrest Road Reopens After Disabled Truck Removed
A portion of Hillcrest Road was closed in Watchung on Friday. It has since reopened as of 11:14 a.m.
WATCHUNG, NJ — A disabled truck had caused a portion of Hillcrest Road to close in Watchung on Friday morning. It has since reopened as of 11:14 a.m., said Watchung Police.

"There is a disabled truck in the northbound lanes of Hillcrest road. The police are actively working to clear the obstruction.," said Watchung Police Detective Lt. Scott Anderle

Police sent out an alert about the closure around 9:30 a.m.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
