Home Burglary, Crashes, House Fire Reported In Warren

A burglar broke into a Warren home on Saturday night and ransacked the master bedroom, said police.

WARREN, NJ — A home and car burglary, house fire, crashes and more were reported in Warren over the past week.

Here is the latest Warren Police blotter:

On May 7 at 8:59 p.m., a home security system reported a burglar alarm activated for a Whispering Way home. Police found an unsecured front door and the master bedroom appeared to be ransacked. It is unknown what was taken at this time.

On May 5 at 5:19 p.m., a structure fire on Mobus Lane was reported. Warren Firefigters, with help from other towns, extinguished the fire. The home, which was vacant, suffered major damage.

On May 2 at around 6:37 a.m., two people entered an unsecured garage at a home on Bellewood Drive and rummaged through an unlocked vehicle. No proceeds were stolen.
