This weekend, a home and a car were burglarized and 2 people were arrested for DUI and marijuana possessions in Warren: blotter.

WARREN, NJ — This past weekend, a home and a car were burglarized and two people were arrested for driving under the influence and marijuana possessions, according to Warren Police.

Warren Police blotter:

On Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1:40 a.m.: Kyrell J. Carey, 22, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania was arrested for Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams following a traffic stop on Interstate 78. Carey was released ROR on summonses.

On Saturday, Feb. 4 at 7:17 p.m.: Police responded to a residential burglary on Morning Glory Road. The incident occurred between 2 and 7 p.m. The unknown actor(s) forced open a front window and took an unknown amount of cash and jewelry. The scene was processed and an investigation is ongoing.

On Sunday, Feb. 5 at 1:03 p.m.: A Round Top Road resident reported a motor vehicle burglary. The incident occurred between Jan. 29 and Feb. 4. The unknown actor(s) pried open the driver's door and removed approximately $200 to $300 in cash.

On Sunday, Feb. 5 at 11:17 p.m.: Melvin A. Thomas-Horne, 38, of Plainfield was arrested for DUI and Possession of Marijuana Under 50 Grams following a traffic stop on Hillcrest Road. Thomas-Horne was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses and released to a family member with a court date. His car was towed from the scene.
