Home Burglary Reported In Warren

Someone forced the front door open and ransacked the upstairs bedroom while the homeowner was away, Warren Police report.

WARREN, NJ — A home burglary was reported Saturday at a Warren home on Hillcrest Boulevard.

On Nov. 11 at 7:30 a.m., a resident reported someone forced the front door open and ransacked the upstairs bedroom while the homeowner was away, Warren Police report.

The burglary occurred between Nov. 10 at 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. on Nov. 11.

Jewelry was possible stolen, police report.

On Nov. 10 at 3:05 a.m.: Josue David, 36, of Elizabeth was arrested for DUI following a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 78 near Liberty Corner Road. David was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses with a pending Warren Township court appearance. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released to a friend. The on-call town removed David's vehicle from the scene.

On Nov. 12 at 1:30 a.m.: Emanuel N. Jaces, 24, of Newark was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Hillcrest Road near Crestwood Drive. Jacas was charged with possession of marijuana (less than 50 grams). He was also issued summonses for failing to wear a seat belt. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released pending a court appearance.
