iPhone Reported Stolen at Baseball Fields

Hit-and-run reported on Powderhorn Drive.

Warren police received a report of a stolen iPhone at 7:45 p.m. Friday. The victim was at the municipal ballfields on Bardy Road at the time of the theft.

An employee of reported someone smashed the driver's side window and windshield on their vehicle. The report was made at 3:29 p.m. June 15, but the victim did not know when the incidnet may have occurred.

Warren police also responded to several accidents over the weekend. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.

At 11:22 a.m. June 15, an employee of Celgene reported a hit-and-run on Powderhorn Drive. The time of the incident was not determined.

Police responded to an accident at 11:52 a.m., after Vaishali Patel, 35, of Basking Ridge, hit a vehicle on Dead River Road while backing up.

Police also received a report of an accident on Hillcrest Road, near Bellewood Drive, at 12:16 a.m. after a vehicle driven by Brendan Murray, 26, of Middletown, Md., attempted to pass a vehicle driven by Evan Vitureira, 17, of Millington, as Vitureira was making a turn.

No summonses have been filed for any of the accidents.
