Luxury Car With Keys Inside Stolen From Warren Home

Someone also broke into a Warren home by coming through a back window, police said.

WARREN, NJ — Another unlocked luxury car with the keys left inside was stole from a Warren home on Friday.

A King George Road resident reported that their 2018 Mercedes Benz with the key left inside was taken from the driveway, as seen on video surveillance.

The vehicle was later found in Newark, Warren Police said.

Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and remove any valuables.

On Dec. 12 at 9:21 a.m.: A residential burglary was reported on Aspen Court. Entry was gained through a rear window. The incident occurred at an unknown time. Unknown proceeds at this time.

On Dec. 14 at 9:21 a.m.: A South Plainfield resident reported that on Dec. 13 while making a delivery to Kings a tire on his vehicle was slashed.

On Dec. 14 at 4:55 p.m.: A Bellewood Drive resident reported an incident of fraud. Someone managed to obtain the number off a gift card the victim held and spent the remaining $80 from the card.

On Dec. 15 at 3:12 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Warrenville Road, Cesar Rios, 29, of Green Brook was arrested for DWI. He was processed and released pending a court appearance. Motor vehicle summonses were issued for DWI, failure to submit to a breath test, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to possess an insurance card. His vehicle was towed from the scene.

On Dec. 19 at 7:05 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Valley Road, Walid Coursey, 41, of Trenton was arrested for possession of marijuana and controlled dangerous substance (CDS) paraphernalia. Coursey was processed and released pending a court appearance.
