Madeline Finkel Caps Double-Major Undergrad Studies
Warren students earn degrees, dean's list honors and other awards on campus.

Graduations
Madeline Finkel received two bachelor's degrees during the May 20 commencement exercises at Quinnipiac University. She received bachelor's degrees in art history and public relations.
She was joined in the commencement by fellow Warren student Heather Bauer, who received her Bachelor's of Science in Accounting.

The following local residents were among over 900 students from Providence College who received undergraduate degrees during the College's Ninety-Fourth Commencement Exercises held May 20:

Nicholas Pollera graduated with a bachelors degree from Gettysburg College on May 20. Pollera majored in Political Science .

The following local students graduated from Villanova University during a spring commencement ceremony, held on Sunday, May 20.
Christine Lamastra earned a Bachelor of Science;
Brian Macellara earned a Bachelor of Business Administration;
Hillary Penek earned a Bachelor of Science;
Stephen Roach earned a Bachelor of Arts.
Honor society induction
Fairleigh Dickinson University has released the names of students that have been inducted into FDU's Phi Epsilon Omega senior honors society and Phi Zeta Kappa junior honors society.
To qualify for Phi Omega Epsilon, a student must have completed 90 credits toward an undergraduate degree, and of these credits, 58 must have been earned at FDU. To qualify for Phi Zeta Kappa, a student must have completed 60 credits toward an undergraduate degree, 44 must have been earned at FDU. Both honor societies require a cumulative grade point ratio of 3.2.
The following students have been inducted:
Timothy Luong, a student at FDU's College at Florham, has been inducted into Phi Omega Epsilon;
Jeri Patasnik, a student at FDU's College at Florham, has been inducted into Phi Omega Epsilon;
Lauren Grazia, a student at FDU's College at Florham, has been inducted into Phi Zeta Kappa.
Dean's lists
Kelsey Valentino, an Elementary Education major, has been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2012 semester in the College of Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences at Rider University.

Benjamin Harvitt and Jeffrey Janoski were named to the dean's list at Curry College, the school's Chief Academic Officer David Potash announced. The stduents qualified for the list for the spring 2012 term by earning a 3.30 G.P.A., with no incompletes, and have no grade lower than a "C" for the semester.

Heather Hansson was named to the spring 2012 Caldwell College Dean's List, maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and complete at least 12 credits during the semester.

Jennifer Silvershein, '13, was among over 750 students from Union College who made the annual dean's list. Silvershein, a Psychology and Sociology major, is a 2009 graduate of Morristown-Beard School. To be named to the Dean's List, Union students must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the academic year and meet certain other requirements.

William Batista earned dean's list honors at Saint Joseph's University for the spring 2012 semester. Batista is majoring in Business Intelligence at the University. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or above, a B or greater in all their classes, and complete at least 15 credits to earn Dean's List status for a semester.
