WARREN, NJ — A Hunterdon County man was killed following a crash on Interstate 78 on Friday afternoon.At 11:09 a.m. on Friday, Stephan Tarnawsky, 35, of Washington was driving on I-78 West when his Ford Crown Victoria ran off the road to the right and hit a tree, said New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan.The crash caused fatal injuries to the driver, Tarnawsky, said Marchan.As a result of the crash, the highway was closed for a few hours.The cause of the crash remains under investigation and there is no further information at this time.Have a news tip?
